The Skytroopers website was made to honor the men who served in the 1st Air Cavalry Division and all veterans. Also, to give an honest account from telling our own experiences of what it was like to serve in combat in South Vietnam. The history of the American involvement in Vietnam suffers from more distortions of the truth than any other war. While there is much accurate information available about the Vietnam War, there is also at least as much or more outright lies and misinformation. The best advice to anyone reading about or researching the Vietnam War is try to find reliable resources and to verify any stories or information.
I have not updated the website for a few years as I lost my motivation and needed to back away for awhile. Recently I began to have the desire to work on the website again. There have been enough changes in that amount of time on the correct ways to create a website that I am studying HTML, XHTML, CSS and more as I can. Consequently, the frenquency of updates will be somewhat related on the ability of my old brain to learn, LOL. Thank you.
